Creating Sacred Space through Journal Writing Journal writing allows us to put our truth on the page. It invites us to make room in our imaginations. By helping us to pause to savor the particulars of the present moment and listen deeply to self and others, this workshop will help us to connect with what matters and can reveal a new spiritual voice that we can claim as our own. No writing “experience” necessary. Please bring a pencil and favorite notebook or journal. Note: limited enrollment.

Gazing In and Out the Attic Window "Treasures abound in an attic, if you're patient enough to wade through the spider webs and dust to discover them." - C. J. Heck "There's a light on in the attic; I can see it from outside and I know you're on the inside lookin' out." - Shel Silverstein
Spend this autumn weekend prayerfully reflecting on family treasures and memories in your attic and the landscape you can view from its window. Do so while creating an attic window quilt design that's easy and eye-catching, since it gives the appearance of light moving through colorful panes. It's the perfect pattern for leftover fabric, as well as a favorite of beginner or expert quilters alike.
